Join a Program at your local World Affairs Council
The World Affairs Councils of America offers a range of programs, services, and resources to members of our council network and the public, and we warmly welcome your involvement. Please check out the different sections of our website and feel free to contact Matthew Hughes, President & CEO, for more information.

How You Can Get Involved:
The best way to get involved with the network is through your closest local Council using our Council locator tool. Some Councils represent municipalities, and some the whole state or region.

The World Affairs Councils of America is governed and supported by a volunteer board of directors. Elections to the WACA National Board typically take place in the spring for service that begins July 1, the start of our fiscal year. Directors are expected to serve a three-year term and participate as a member of at least one standing committee; all are eligible for re-election to a second term.
