Angela Weck
Executive Director
Peoria Area World Affairs Council
Angela Weck is the Executive Director of the Peoria Area World Affairs Council, an all-volunteer Council in Illinois. She is also an affiliate faculty member of the Department of History at Bradley University where she teaches avid students about Russian history and international studies. She loves travel, reading, and discussing the global-local connections for a wide range of current events. Angela is married with two adult children. Her favorite past-time these days is spending time with her granddaughter.
For Angela, World Affairs Councils matter because average citizens need to be informed to discuss world affairs and how they affect us locally – empowering people to act accordingly.
