Dr. Charles E. Azuka is a retired Procter & Gamble executive, board-certified toxicologist, and regulatory affairs leader with more than 30 years of global experience in product safety, compliance, and strategic growth. He brings deep expertise in governance, risk oversight, public health, and stakeholder engagement to board service.
During his career at Procter & Gamble, Dr. Azuka held senior leadership roles across multiple business units and international markets, including serving as Regional Head of Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety for Sub-Saharan Africa, where he supported compliance and expansion across 27 countries. He also served as Director of Global Product Stewardship for Gillette Global Grooming, leading product safety and regulatory teams supporting innovation, supply-chain continuity, and business growth.
Dr. Azuka is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Selzona Consultancy LLC, where he advises organizations on regulatory strategy, safety evaluation, risk management, and organizational effectiveness.
In addition to his corporate leadership, he has served on 2 nonprofit boards and has completed training as a Nonprofit Board Leader. His board and volunteer experience reflects a strong commitment to governance, partnership development, mentoring, and community advancement. He has supported initiatives focused on education, STEM advancement, youth development, and underserved communities, and he is especially passionate about helping organizations strengthen their impact through effective leadership and responsible growth.
